I have not been able to auto confirm for GCCFCD (About Austin). I've done it once before for another virtual but this time it just takes me to the home page of AusExp. I emailed the cache owner 2 or 3 days ago but have not received any response. Got a link handy?

Also, how do you get on the Austin-Area Cache Standings? Do I have to submit my profile or something?

Thanks!

Welcome to the site. If your login name is the same as your Geocaching login then your find will eventually be reflected on the site. If you are using a different login name then send me a note with both so that I can associate the two accounts.

Concerning About Austin, looks like the cache owner posted the link incorrectly. They have a space in the link URL, which is causing the problem. Try this:

http://www.austinexplorer.com/Geocaching/ConfirmVirtualCache.aspx?CacheID=373

I have not heard from Bonnie B in quite some time. I'm not sure that she's active in caching anymore. Because Geocaching.com does not support new virtual caches I'm not sure that anyone can step in an take ownership of the cache. I think they would more likely just archive it.

Thanks for the link! I hope they don't archive it! It's a very cool spot. My name is the same on here as with Geocaching.
Thanks again!

Slowly, but surely, some of your cache finds are finding their way into the database.
