Q. Will I ever receive unsolicited email from Austin Explorer or anyone else due to my registering with Austin Explorer?
A. No. Austin Explorer will not share your name or email address with anyone else. Email newsletters are opt in and are not sent without your permission.

Q. Why does the registration screen ask so many questions?
A. The only required fields to register with Austin Explorer is a user name, password and a valid email address. The email address is never divulged. All other information is strictly voluntary. This information can be viewed by other users who may find a common interest with yours. Austin Explorer may also use the combined aggregate information about the makeup of our members to tailor the products and services that we offer.

Q. Why do you use cookies?
A. Cookies are only used if you register with Austin Explorer and log in. If you do not log in and only browse the site, no cookies are used. After logging in cookies are used so that Austin Explorer can remember who you are so that you do not have to retype in your user name and password when performing some functions that require authentication, such as posting to the forum. These cookies are never used to track actions, are never written to an Austin Explorer database and are never shared with anyone.
