Comments: We hated the pipeline area. What I couldn't figure out is why they didn't put a trail in the woods that parallels the pipeline? It was hot and exposed and for no good reason. The trail became something very special after the second road crossing, though. This hike is worth doing for that section alone. Saw only one other couple the whole day.
