This hike was surprisingly hot in early May. The noisy plant near halfway was a surprise, but solitude was unsurpassed. We did not see anyone else for the entire 7 miles of the hike.
This was a nice hike, surprisingly isolated in Austin. There were a lot of bikers on the trail to watch out for.
Enchanted Rock is always beautiful, an amazing experience to climb such a huge solid chunk of granite.
