We walked after a period of light rain so the trail was a little slick in spots. Because the dogs are off leash and their is water you have to contend with fending off friendly dogs that get you wet also.
It was hot. The trails were not well marked. We sorta got lost. Not real sure of our distance.
We did not walk the complete loop. We walked from the Congress Street Bridge to Pleasant Valley Road. About a fourth of the distance of that on a boardwalk.
We walked this as part of a 10K volksmarching event.
We started at Upper Purgatory Creek Park and only hike in for approximately 1.5 mile then turned around and hiked back out. We saw one other hiker on this section of the trail.
